Bringing nature into our everyday lives through activities such as gardening, walking or being around animals can reduce feelings of stress and anger and give you some time out for yourself to relax. Simply being outdoors in natural light can help improve your mood.
If there’s a green space near your workplace why not organise a game of rounders or football, hold a guerrilla gardening session, or a group walk? Take time to enjoy the outdoors and get re-energised for an afternoon of productive work.

This year, we’ve been chosen as one of the lucky charities supported by the National Garden Scheme. The National Garden Scheme gives visitors access to over 3,500 unique private gardens in England and Wales, and raises money for nursing and health charities through admissions, teas and cake.
