Our Frontline
Our healthcare workers are on the frontline of the pandemic and while we know that not many of them will be reading this we wanted to highlight what we are doing to support their mental health during this difficult time. If you know any healthcare workers, please pass on our resources and reassure them that Mind is there for them.
Andrea, a Respiratory Physiotherapist, has written a blog about life on a Covid ward and how she is coping with some of the exhaustion and uncertainty which comes as a result of the crisis.
Our Information Hub has tips for coping with anxiety if you are returning to work now and feeling anxious about it, or for healthcare workers who are working with people who have coronavirus symptoms.
Our Head of Workplace Wellbeing has penned a blog on how nurses can look after their mental health during the pandemic which you can share with any nursing staff you know.
If you're in need of additional support for coping with bereavement, our guide can help.
There are a number of wellbeing apps that are now free to NHS staff, or the RCN counselling service.
There are more ideas and toolkits on Mental Health at Work. Our Frontline is a partnership between Shout, Samaritans, Mind, Hospice UK and The Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Visit Our Frontline or text the helpline on 85258.
