Time to Talk Day
Start conversations in your workplace
It’s not always easy to say how you really feel. But talking openly and honestly can be the first step towards better mental health.
Run by Mind and Rethink Mental Illness, and being delivered in partnership with Co-op for the third year running, Time to Talk Day is the nation’s biggest mental health conversation. Find ways to get involved
There are loads of ways your workplace can get involved;
Run a lunch and learn session to increase awareness around mental health. If someone in your organisation is happy to share their own experiences, this can be a great way to start the conversation.
Organise a myth busting quiz on mental health. This can be a fun way to share new information and help change misconceptions about mental health in the workplace. You can even use our True or False activity set here.
Make use of our supporter assets. We have a range of materials available from branded email banners and social media posts to printable posters and activities – all to help you spread the word internally and externally. Download the resource pack.
And finally! Don’t forget to use #TimetoTalk when sharing posts on social media.
1 in 4 of us will experience a mental health problem in any given year. And the cost of living crisis is only making it harder to look after our mental health.
Sometimes it’s even easier to tell people we’re ‘fine’ than say how we really feel. But talking about mental health can help bust myths and break down barriers. Have a conversation about mental health this Time to Talk Day.
