We surveyed 811 employees from UK workplaces to help us understand the challenges you have been facing during lockdown.
One of your biggest concerns was the impact that the pandemic was having on the mental health and wellbeing of your staff. Many of you told us that you have had to urgently review your wellbeing policies and put new measures in place.
Our survey highlighted some key challenges you are facing including:
• We found that information, resources and toolkits from charities are the most popular types of support to currently access (84%) with webinars being the next most popular (35%). • A third of employers are accessing support from charities and over half are accessing support from an EAP provider with a similar proportion accessing government funding.
• Unsurprisingly, employers are looking for support with around returning to work (49%), and how line managers can support their teams (37%). • Around a third of employers would like support on a range of other topics, including measuring the impact of coronavirus on staff wellbeing, support for those who are struggling and supporting remote workers.
