We're Mind and we're here to fight for mental health. We give advice and support to anyone who needs it. On the high street, our charity shops raise vital funds and give away mental health information. Our local Mind network delivers mental health services to anyone who needs them.
Our Workplace Wellbeing Client Services team provides support for employers, such as mental health awareness training and bench-marking and best practice advice through our Workplace Wellbeing Index.
We all have mental health just as we all have physical health, and considering how much time we spend working, it’s not surprising that our jobs can have a significant impact on our mental wellbeing.
During the coronavirus pandemic, we all had to adjust to very large and sudden changes in the way we work. Many of us now are working in new ways with our colleagues, our customers and our value chains. Coping with change and disruption can lead to challenges with our mental health and wellbeing so it’s more important now than ever before to look after your employees’ mental health. We can help your organisation to understand how best to support your people and create a mentally healthy workplace.
Poor mental health among employees costs UK employers £53bn - £56bn each year, which is a cost of up to £2,400 per employee.
